Carol Anne Tarak, 81, of Indianapolis, went to be with Jesus on March 18, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Michigan to Paul and Bernice Shattuck. She married Stephen William “Bill” Tarak, Jr. in May 1957. They were married for 42 years.

Carol retired from CNA Insurance. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing. Carol loved dogs and enjoyed attending her weekly Bible Study with friends.  She enjoyed community activities with friends at Clearvista Lake Health Campus where she lived.

She is survived her children, Cheryl (Jeff) Scalf, Stephen Tarak III, and Michael (Rachel) Tarak; grandchildren, Daniel, Greg, Stephanie, Josiah, Micah, Carrie (Joe), Ashley, Lauren, Riley, and Madelyn; and great grandson Jayden. Carol was preceded in death by her husband.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28^th at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, 46250. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time.
